Content strategy and creation for Lviv Medical Center

In 2021, the partners at Lviv Medical Center reached out to me looking for end-to-end social media management: creating medical content from scratch and setting up paid advertising on social platforms. At the time, the clinic’s team was getting ready to open a large medical center.

Lviv Medical Center offers over 3,500 types of medical services — a full range of diagnostics and consultations with doctors across more than 20 specialties.

My tasks were to:

  • create original content and set the clinic apart from competitors,
  • ensure posts went out regularly on the clinic’s pages,
  • set up advertising to promote the content,
  • refresh the visual style of the posts based on the brand book.

All of it aimed at catching the attention of potential patients and boosting the clinic’s recognition on social media.

Content planning

I built the content plan around three main pillars:

  • The medical center. I show how the place works — the equipment, the capabilities, the space, and the modern approach to treatment.
  • The team of doctors. I introduce the audience to the clinic’s doctors, build trust, and highlight their expertise and experience.
  • What we treat. I explain what issues people can come to us with and why it’s worth getting treated right here.
  • Lighter content. Easy, interactive posts on medical topics.

Communication tools

Copy. Before I started on the project, the clinic’s tone was formal and official — you could clearly feel that “doctor–patient” distance, as if the two could only talk about treatment. I changed that: I made it less formal and closer to how doctors and patients actually talk in person.

The core message I conveyed through social media: at Lviv Medical Center, examinations and treatment happen quickly and to the standards of modern medicine, with the latest equipment and methods.

The clinic helps with everything you need — for both diagnostics and treatment, from consultations with doctors across different specialties to surgical procedures and hotel rooms for recovery.

Visual communication: static posts. Right at the start, I defined the visual format: carousels on Instagram, with part of the text built into them, and a single image on Facebook. I developed the style in line with the brand book.

Visual communication: video. I started working with video right away — I used it to show the future departments, offices, and equipment, and added video tours to stories. As soon as Instagram rolled out Reels for Ukraine, I leaned into video more heavily — showing every department, how the clinic runs, and the doctors themselves. It’s a way to grow reach and introduce the medical center to a new audience.
