Event Photography of an Ophthalmology Conference

I had the honour of being the photographer of RETINA LVIV 2025 — Ukraine’s leading ophthalmology event, held for the fifth time.

My task was to capture the event in all its fullness. I photographed both the official, formal proceedings and the informal encounters behind the scenes, as well as the gala evening.

Over the course of two days, leading vitreoretinal surgeons from Ukraine and abroad shared their experience through lectures, a video competition, discussions of complex clinical cases, and expert panels. The founder and scientific inspirer of the symposium is Professor Ihor Novytskyy. The organisers are the Oculus medical centres and the Lviv Medical Center. The official languages are Ukrainian and English, with simultaneous interpretation.
