Content creation and Social Media Communication for Oculus Dental Clinic

Until mid-2021, the Okulus dental clinic was on social media more for the sake of it — posts went out sporadically, with no systematic work on content. That meant a lot of untapped potential: great specialists, real results, but in the feed none of it was helping the clinic stand out from competitors or get noticed by new patients. That’s exactly the brief they came to me with.

What needed solving:

  • create original content and set the clinic apart from competitors;
  • ensure posts went out regularly on the clinic’s pages;
  • set up advertising to promote content and generate patient inquiries.

The results came fast: within the very first month of work, I didn’t just change the whole approach to content — I significantly moved the numbers, too. For example, organic (free) reach of Facebook posts grew by 20,933% in that first month alone. This is exactly the case where a system and a clear strategy deliver results faster than budget does.

Content planning

I built the content around three main pillars:

  • The team. The content introduces patients to the doctors and brings them closer to the audience: I answer questions, show how the work is done, the interactions with patients, and share results.
  • Expertise. The clinic’s dentists give advice; I help people choose care products, spot problems early, and get kids into the habit of seeing a dentist regularly.
  • Emotion. I create interactive content that pulls the audience in — quizzes, polls, games in stories, and lighthearted posts on dental topics.

Communication tools

Copy. I talk to readers like good acquaintances — friendly in tone, but without unnecessary formality. The style of the posts, comments, and private messages reflects how the doctors really relate to their patients: always ready to suggest, help, and advise, sometimes crack a joke and lift the mood — but always with respect for the reader.

Visual communication: static posts and carousels. To stay recognizable among competitors, I focused on three colors that run consistently through the posts and stories, with each color tied to a specific content category. To keep the content “alive,” I use original photos of the doctors, the offices, the equipment, and the results of their work. On Instagram I went with carousels — pairing part of the text with photos, illustrations, and simple diagrams.

Reels. As soon as Instagram rolled out Reels for Ukraine, I jumped into video content in earnest. Thanks to quality, consistency, and the right promotion tools, it’s been pulling in genuinely large reach.
